About
Humble explorer of the human experience. My work explores uniting the opposites of form and function, high and low, business and art. I'm working on my ability to undo the conditioning of adulthood and return to a state of wonder.
I appreciate the under-appreciated and can't walk down the block without spotting a crusty gate service sticker or piece of invisible infrastructure.
Born and raised in Vermont, I grew up skateboarding, listening to the dead, and taking nature for granted. I strangely enjoy the smell of diesel idle in winter, the rattle of a dry clutch Ducati, and things that just work.
I've taught graphic design at Champlain College, University of Vermont, and CUNY Citytech. Work at JDK Design, Burton Snowboards, and Fuse Marketing ahead of founding Brand Service Company in NYC.
Work highlights include: fry-cook, production designer, paving crew lackey, graphic designer, MFA-degreed roofer, and creative service entrepreneur.
